Billing FAQ – Reflys

This guide addresses some frequently asked questions regarding subscriptions, charges, limitations of plans, and methods of payment on your account with Reflys. Regardless of which plan you use, whether Free or Pro, all the information you need to know is written below in an easy-to-understand manner.

What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?

The Free plan is recommended for individuals who want to experiment with Reflys or have a small business. The Pro has many more advanced features and flexibility

Here’s what you get in the Free plan:

  • Channel Access: Use Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Website Widgets.
  • 1 Ecommerce Store Connection: Connect one online store and track behavior.
  • Track up to 50 Orders: Monitor your first 50 sales through Reflys.
  • 1 Social Account Connection: Link either Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp.
  • Engage up to 10 Contacts: Manage up to 10 unique users in your system.
  • Display 10 Instagram Media Items: Use automation to display posts or reels.
  • Automation Access: Use the builder and create up to 3 flows.
  • Tagging & Responses: Add up to 3 Tags, 3 Custom Fields, and 3 Canned Responses.
  • Growth Tools: Use Ref URLs, QR codes, and Conversation Starters.
  • Basic Live Chat: Chat with users on Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
  • Website Widgets: Use customizable popups and embedded forms.

What are the limits in the Free plan?

The free plan is ideal for beginners and provides only limited features.

  • Contact Limit: Up to 10 total contacts (active, unsubscribed, or deleted).
  • Custom Keywords: Up to 3 custom keyword triggers.
  • Automation Flows: Create up to 3 flows total.
  • Canned Responses & Fields: Max 3 each (Tags, Custom Fields, and Canned Replies).

What happens if I hit the limit on keywords or team members?

If you reach your keyword or team member limit, automation and messaging features (like live chat and broadcasts) will stop working. You can remove a custom keyword or remove a team member to continue using features within the Free plan limits.

What happens if I reach the contact limit on the Free plan?

Once you reach 10 contacts:

  • You won’t be able to send messages using automation, live chat, or broadcasts.
  • Deleting contacts will not reset or reduce the limit.

To continue messaging, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro plan.

How much does Reflys Pro cost?

The Pro plan is priced based on the number of contacts in your account. Pricing starts from a base monthly rate (e.g., $15/month for up to 500 contacts). As your contact list grows, the pricing adjusts accordingly.

The costs are based on Refly’s pricing calculator and vary according to:

  • The number of contacts in your workspace
  • The time you spend in each contact tier during the billing cycle

You only pay for what you use.

Can I switch between pricing tiers?

Yes. Reflys automatically adjusts your tier based on the number of contacts in your account. No manual upgrade/downgrade needed.

What counts as a contact?

A contact is any individual who interacts with your connected Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, or website widget and agrees to receive messages. You can also create or import contacts through tools and integrations. Please note that followers and contacts are not the same.

How do I estimate how many contacts I’ll get?

You can get a rough idea by multiplying your number of followers by your average engagement rate. That gives you an estimate of how many users might start a conversation with you and become contacts.

Can I cap my monthly payment?

Currently, there is no option to set a hard cap. As your audience grows and more users engage with your automation, your contact count and, therefore, your billing may increase.

Can I pay annually?

No, Reflys only supports monthly billing. Pro subscription depends on the number of contacts in your account.

Can I pay through PayPal?

No, Reflys does not support PayPal payments. Reflys uses Stripe as the payment gateway, which accepts most credit and debit cards. 

Can I pay only for automation (without contact-based pricing)?

No. To send automated messages, you need contacts who have opted in. Reflys requires contacts to enable automation, so contact-based billing applies. Thus, it is not possible to send automation without collecting contact information. 

How can I start or renew my subscription?

To start your Pro trial or renew a canceled plan, go to:

  • Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your account settings:

After cancellation, all Pro features will stop, but your contacts and automation content will remain saved.

How can I update my payment info?

To change billing info (card details, billing address, etc.):

  • Go to Settings > Billing > Visit Billing Portal > Update Information

How do I view or download invoices?

All invoices are available in your Billing section:

  • Settings > Billing > Visit Billing Portal > Invoice History

You can download, print, or share them as needed.

Can I use one Pro plan across multiple accounts?

No. Each Reflys account has its own Pro subscription, as billing is calculated based on the number of contacts per account.

Can I transfer my Pro plan to another account?

No. Pro plans are account-specific and subscriptions cannot be transferred. If you made a payment on the wrong account, contact our support team

What happens to my contacts and flows if I cancel Pro?

  • Your automations and contacts will stay saved.
  • All Pro-only features will be disabled until you resubscribe.
  • You can re-upgrade to Pro at any time and resume using everything.
